Solar Generation October 2023
Following on from last months disaster we did not get any solar generation until the new Solaredge inverter was fitted on the 18th October 2023 thus nearly a whole month was lost due to this failure.

It is really frustrating when a company does not provide a guarantee that actually pays the full replacement costs of changing a defective part. I know it is October so generation will be minimal but being a bit of a statistical nerd each day I was without it working I would see the sunshining and get very angry!
Anyway, on to this months figures for generation and use.
Comparative Energy
October 2023 : 130 kWh
October 2022: 372 kWh
So we lost about 240 kW of generation as a result of the Solaredge inverter failure
Electricity Use
Total for the month was £67.97
Gas Use
We turned the gas on in September to heat the water instead of using the eddi.
Total Gas use : £25.24 (£2.40 added for a couple of days in September)
